A much-loved figure at the club, Willem Drew is the picture of consistency and hard work. Originally from North Ballarat, he’s shown his ability to play on the inside or outside and as a shutdown midfielder when needed.
Renowned for his decision making under pressure, Drew’s hard work and resilience has seen him become an integral part of Port Adelaide's midfield brigade and is one of the competition's premier defensive on-ballers.
Playing all possible games in both 2024 and 2025, whilst racking up impressive tackling and clearance numbers, Drew has continued his ascent and shows no signs of slowing down.
Part of Port Adelaide's leadership group alongside Sam Powell-Pepper, Drew supports captain Connor Rozee and vice-captain Zak Butters in leading the side on and off the field.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
