Wines is one of Port Adelaide’s most experienced operators and leads from the front in his performance, attitude and respect for his teammates. Operating in tandem with the side's lively core - Connor Rozee, Jason Horne-Francis, Jase Burgoyne and Joe Richards, the 31-year-old plays an important role in Port Adelaide's midfield.
His invaluable leadership on and off the field has never wavered, making him an important figure in Port Adelaide's young side. Having re-committed to the club for a remarkable 15th AFL season, Wines has truly cemented himself as a Port Adelaide icon and will continue his legacy into another season.
