PORT Adelaide skipper Travis Boak has been named by his peers as one of the Top 50 players in the competition.

The players’ Top 50, which is being counted down on AFL.com.au, listed Boak at No.19.

Boak enjoyed a career-best year in 2013, averaging 25 disposals per game on his way to winning his first All-Australian honours.

The 25-year-old’s leadership has come to the fore since he was named captain, and he has earned widespread praise for the way he leads on and off the field.

Chad Wingard was named at No.34 in the players’ Top 50.

In just his second season of AFL, Wingard was named as an All-Australian and won the club’s Best & Fairest Award – the John Cahill Medal.

The exciting forward averaged more than 20 disposals per game and booted 43 goals in season 2013.

Wingard has also been named in Mike Sheehan (No.29) and Michelangelo Rucci’s (No.25) Top 50 lists along with skipper Travis Boak (26th in Sheehan’s and 19th in Rucci’s). Justin Westhoff was ranked at No.32 in Rucci’s Top 50.
