THE talking point from Saturday night's game between the Power and Suns? As it turned out, it was probably the melee before half time, rather than Port's big win, that had tongues in overdrive.

portadelaidefc.com.au spoke to Nathan Krakouer after the game, with the Power defender saying the melee, which came after Angus Monfries' teammates took issues with the aggressive head-high tackle laid on him by Brandon Matera, got the team fired up for the second half.

Krakouer was late to the party though, he was tying up his laces.

"The fight? I didn’t see it at first. I was tying my shoelace before half time," Krakouer said after the game.

"I looked back and all the boys were wrestling around [so] I went over there to grab a couple of boys.

"I think that got us going. It got our blood boiling and up for the second half."

Port Adelaide ran out eventual 37-point winners in a third consecutive win leading up to the end of what has ultimately been a disappointing 2015 campaign.
