IT WAS an oppressive heat that confronted Port Adelaide players at Alberton on Australia Day, as the Power's playing group hit the track for another brutal training session.

While many were enjoying the public holiday, there was no rest for the Power as they chased and tackled through another gruelling session.

With just 17 days until Port Adelaide's internal trial on February 12, the workload is being maintained through the hottest part of the year.

AFL Media attended the session to shoot the players in action. Check out their photos here.
