LAST THREE TIMES IN PRE-SEASON GAMES
2011 (Half-game), Melbourne 0.5.6 (36) def Port Adelaide 1.2.6 (27) at AAMI Stadium
2012, Port Adelaide 17.10 (112) d Melbourne 9.10 (64) at AAMI Stadium
2013, Port Adelaide 17.10 (112) d Melbourne 9.10 (64) at Renmark Oval

THE SIX POINTS
1. Port Adelaide has named 13 inclusions to its 29-man squad for Saturday's game against Melbourne.

2. Melbourne won't play their two best midfielders Nathan Jones and Bernie Vince.

3. Port Adelaide has only recently played pre-season games against Melbourne - the first in 2011 and in subsequent seasons of 2012 and 2013. All games have been played in South Australia - two at AAMI Stadium and one at Renmark.

4. Simon Goodwin will coach Melbourne this week. This is also the Demons' first NAB Challenge match of the year.

5. With a vast injection of experience, Port Adelaide potential forward line will see the influx of Robbie Gray, Justin Westhoff, Jay Schulz and Chad Wingard at one end, and Jasper Pittard, Jack Hombsch, Matt Broadbent and Jarman Impey at the other.

6. Port Adelaide last week played a six-man bench and went as close to 90 rotations as possible. Expect the same this weekend.

FINAL WORD
This will give Power fans a very good look at what should be the club's close-to-Round 1 team.
