"It was only a goal the difference at half time and then we were able to bring it back a bit late, but it was definitely the third quarter that let us down.

"Our entries inside 50 haven't given our forwards a lot of good opportunities - they've been competing really hard but our ball movement and our decision making at times and our skill level at times has really let us down. No doubt they'll be things that come out of the review and something we'll keep working on going forward.

"We were right in the game...I think we had quite a bit of the ball in our forward half so that's the way we want to paly footy. But like I said, after half time they came out and did what great sides do - they really got ontop in the middle and were able to give their forwards plenty of opportunities.

"It was a pretty physical game, but it always is when you play Hawthorn - they're a great team, they've got plenty of hard, seasoned bodies in there, so we knew what it was going to be going into the game."

"They're such an experienced team and their experienced guys stood up when they [needed to].

"Our decision making and our skills throughout the game probably cost us the most. They kicked 5.2 in turnovers from us - so when you're doing that over a period of time, you can't win too many games.

"The playing group is pretty motivated to get back into some good form and the position we're in in the season now is more motivation than anything else. We took a lot of confidence out of last week but we just couldn't perform the whole game, which let us down alot.

"We've got to come back firing and prove people wrong in the future and perform to the level required - and the guys know that more than anyone else.  That's a driving force for us going forward."
