Toumpas to promote culturally diversity in footy again

JIMMY Toumpas is an Australia Post AFL Multicultural Ambassador again in 2017.

Toumpas's Greek heritage is well-known, having previously served as an ambassador for the program last year along with former Port backman Alipate Carlile.

Toumpas will help facilitate cultural education sessions with community leagues and football club in SA. 

He will also work to promote football to culturally diverse players as part of the Power's next generation academy program.

The Australia Post AFL Multicultural Ambassadors for 2017 are: 

Sabrina Frederick-Traub (Brisbane Lions), Darcy Vescio (Carlton), Helen Roden (Collingwood), Akec Makur Susan Chuot (Fremantle), Dayne Zorko (Brisbane Lions), Dyson Heppell (Essendon), David Zaharakis (Essendon), Jake Kolodjashnij (Geelong), Adam Saad (Gold Coast SUNS), Tom Nicholls (Gold Coast SUNS), Stephen Coniglio (GWS GIANTS), Christian Salem (Melbourne), Majak Daw (North Melbourne), Jimmy Toumpas (Port Adelaide), Bachar Houli (Richmond), Aliir Aliir (Sydney Swans), Nic Naitanui (West Coast), Lin Jong (Western Bulldogs) and Jason Johannisen (Western Bulldogs).
