TRAVIS BOAK has a corked hamstring after being kneed in the back of the leg during the third quarter of Port Adelaide's eventual 90-point win over Carlton.

Boak left the ground after the incident and didn't return to the game.

Ken Hinkley confirmed Boak's issue in his post-match press conference, saying he would be scanned on Monday.

"Trav, at this stage, has got a cork in the hamstring. We'll scan it and if it comes up as a hamstring [injury] we wont' have a choice," Hinkley said.

Port Adelaide will also review Hamish Hartlett who was a late withdrawal from the game with quad soreness.

However, he is expected to be available for selection to play Brisbane next Saturday.

"We've had a pretty tough couple of weeks, and as a team you eventually pay a price," Hinkley said.

"Hammer was one of those them who, in six days, we thought would get up, but he didn't and we didn't want to take a risk."

Port Adelaide plays the Lions at 4.35pm AEST on Saturday 29 April at the Gabba.
