Dear True Believers,

Port Adelaide is on the march.

Every day, every player, coach and employee of the Port Adelaide Football Club walks past a question written on a wall of Allan Scott Headquarters: “What are you going to do today to make us better?”

Some days you treat it like just another message.

Then there are days when you’re so unhappy about our weekend results that you can’t stop thinking about it!

Well, as I passed the sign on Monday morning (in a foul mood I might add) it got me thinking!

What else can we do to give our boys an edge?

At the start of the year, we were told that we had to change the route of our popular supporter march because of construction work

The march was moved and shortened. This hurt our supporters.

Well, we’re bringing it back.

Starting this week, the March from the Mall will fire up again – this time from our traditional starting place at the corner of Gawler Place and Rundle Mall, and head straight down King William Street to the Oval.

We’re going to make it loud and proud.

There will be drums, trumpets, police escorts… and good old Port Adelaide spirit!

It won’t be the Saints Marching into Adelaide Oval, it will be Port Adelaide’s true believers.

And we’re going to march the Saints out of finals contention!

We need you there.

In a season where every little thing matters…don’t underestimate how important your passion for your club is.

Drag a mate with you to the game.

Get to the Rundle Mall and march with your fellow supporters – departure is 2.45pm on Saturday.

You’re not just marching to the game, you’re marching with your club.

It’s time for us all to stand up and make a difference.

Let’s get this done.

See you at the march.
