WILL THEY or won't they? Talk coming out of Perth is certainly warming that Willie Rioli could be called into the Eagles line-up for Saturday night's elimination final.

If picked, it will mark the former Glenelg player's first AFL game.

West Australian media suggest Rioli, who is the cousin of Hawthorn's Cyril, is being seriously considered for the call-up.

The 22-year-old along with Eagles father-son Jake Waterman are both being talked about as possible inclusions to face the Power.

Eagles footy ops manager Craig Vozzo didn't rule the potential selection out.

"He’s certainly being discussed and debated at match committee level,” Vozzo said.

“He’s gradually built up his fitness base. Whether it’s at the level the match committee’s prepared to select him on, I’m not sure.

“But he’s doing the training with the guys and he’ll be one of the names that’s [been] thrown up.”

Rioli booted six goals in East Perth's final three WAFL games for the year.

Port Adelaide and West Coast clash in the knockout AFL First Elimination Final on Saturday 9 September at 7.20pm ACST at the Adelaide Oval.
