STURT'S Josh Hone will play in Sunday's SANFL Grand Final after accepting a financial reprimand from the Incident Review Panel.

Hone, who booted three goals in last weekend's prelim final against the Eagles, was cited for striking opponent Jarred Allmond.

The conduct was assessed as intentional, of low impact to the body.

That normally carries a one-match suspension, but an early guilty plea reduced the penalty to a $200 fine and reprimand.

Port Adelaide plays Sturt in the 2017 SANFL Grand Final at Adelaide Oval on Sunday 24 September at 2.40pm.
