ROBBIE GRAY received 66 per cent of the votes in our Round 4 loss to Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Gray had a game-high 39 possessions against the Bombers, including 19 contested from his 95 percent game time.

The three-time club best and fairest went at 84.6 per cent from his 39 touches, which included 10 clearances, five inside 50s and four rebound 50s.

Ollie Wines and Jared Polec combined for more than 50 touches between them, 10 clearances and seven inside 50s.

While Tom Jonas was excellent in defence – keeping Essendon spearhead Joe Daniher to 2 goals, which both came in the final term.

Jack Watts received the third-highest number of votes behind Gray and Jonas for his three-goal performance against the Dons.
