THERE is a bright future in Port Adelaide's youth brigade, with three Power players - the second most of any of the AFL's 18 clubs - named in the AFLPA's 22under22 team.

The team features players aged under 22 years at the beginning of 2015, with Jack Hombsch, Ollie Wines and Chad Wingard named on the field.

Greater Western Sydney had the most youth of any club named with four players, while the Gold Coast Suns also had three included in the team.

Hombsch was named at full back for the team, with Wines in the centre and Wingard as a small forward.

Bulldog Jake Stringer was announced as skipper at a ceremony on Tuesday night, with Swan Luke Parker his deputy.
