MAGPIES midfielder Louis Sharrad will miss Sunday’s Round 2 clash with the Crows in Mannum after accepting a one-match ban for striking.

Sharrad was reported for striking Norwood’s Josh Donohue in Port Adelaide’s loss at The Parade on Thursday.

With a previous bad record, Sharrad’s one-game penalty was upgraded to a two-game ban.

However his early guilty plea provided a sufficient points reduction to keep him out of just the state league ‘Showdown’.

Aidyn Johnson was also reported for rough conduct, however that charge was later withdrawn.

Port Adelaide plays the Adelaide SANFL team at Mannum Oval at 1.40pm on Sunday 3 April.
