MIDFIELDER Tom Rockliff and young forward Todd Marshall will be assessed by Port Adelaide’s medical staff throughout the week ahead of Saturday night’s ANZAC Round clash with Geelong at Adelaide Oval.

Rockliff reported soreness in his left calf during the first quarter of yesterday’s loss to Essendon at Etihad Stadium, but was able to play out the match. Marshall sat out most of the game’s second half with concussion

Charlie Dixon and Chad Wingard both left the field under the blood rule against the Bombers after receiving knocks to their noses but are expected to be available to face the Cats.

Meanwhile first-year player Joel Garner hurt his shoulder after landing awkwardly in the Magpies’ draw with the Eagles at Alberton on Saturday. He has an extended break to prove his fitness with the Magpies’ next game being the ANZAC Day grand final rematch against Sturt at Peter Motley Oval.
