IN MELBOURNE - Port Adelaide’s players took to the track for one last time on Friday before flying to Melbourne ahead of Saturday night’s Second Elimination Final against Collingwood at the MCG.

Saturday’s 25-man squad had a light but productive session in front of around 700 diehard fans at Alberton Oval.

It was a welcome turnout from the club’s faithful during working hours despite the cold conditions.

Earlier, Ken Hinkley said the Power had "enjoyed" the week building up to the final, but its focus was firmly on winning Saturday night.

“They (the players) have certainly enjoyed the week, there’s no doubt about that,” said Hinkley.

“They’re liking being involved (in finals) and that’s a good thing – that’s what you should want to do.

“But part of enjoying the week is ensuring you prepare the best you can too.”

Port Adelaide's coaching panel has been pleased with its preparation for the elimination final, with Alan Richardson saying Wednesday's session was one of the club's best for the year.

Hinkley echoed his senior assistant's thoughts by praising the work ethic of his team.

“They’re a really committed young group and they have been all year,” said Hinkley.

“We can deal with most challenges, we’ve got another one in front of us and we’ll take our chances.”

The Power's 25-man squad landed in Melbourne on Friday afternoon.

While the three emergencies Cameron Hitchcock, Jack Hombsch and Jake Neade were also on the flight, the final 22-man team is expected to line up against Collingwood as-named.

Incoming players Hamish Hartlett, Alipate Carlile and Robbie Gray all trained well during the week and will add quality to one of the Power's best lineups for the year.

Hinkley was also satisfied with 18-year-old Sam Colquhoun who was substituted from last week's one-point loss to Carlton with soreness.
