PORT ADELAIDE selectors will have a close to fully fit squad to choose from for Saturday night’s AFL preliminary final.

Defenders Hamish Hartlett and Lachie Jones and forward Mitch Georgiades each successfully returned from injury in Saturday’s final SANFL game of the season against Glenelg.

Hartlett compiled 23 disposals, seven tackles and a goal in his first game since having a knee arthroscopy last month while Jones was solid with 13 disposals and five rebound 50s off half back.

The teenager had not played since having a syndesmosis repair in late July.

Forward Mitch Georgiades also showed he had overcome a tight hamstring which saw him miss the club’s qualifying final win over Geelong.

Fellow forward Orazio Fantasia, who was subbed out of the win over the Cats with knee soreness, is also available, having shown no ill-effects of the injury at training last week.

Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side for Saturday’s preliminary final.

The game at Adelaide Oval will take place from 7:10pm.
