PORT ADELAIDE defender Tom Clurey has been fined and reprimanded for striking during the club’s SANFL win over Glenelg at the weekend.

Clurey pleaded guilty to a charge of striking Glenelg’s Matt Allen during the third quarter of the 36-point win.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct with high contact but low impact.

The base sanction was a one-match suspension but with his plea of guilty, Clurey was able to accept a $125 fine and reprimand.
