Charlie Dixon (ankle) and Orazio Fantasia (knee) will consult surgeons to consider the best course of action towards their return to football.

PORT ADELAIDE forwards Charlie Dixon and Orazio Fantasia will consult surgeons regarding respective ankle and knee issues.

Dixon tore ligaments in his left ankle after landing awkwardly on a teammate’s foot during a marking contest at training on Friday.

The 31-year-old will be in a moon boot in the short term while the ligaments recover and he will seek further medical opinion this week.

Fantasia has recovered well from surgery on his left knee but is having ongoing issues with his right one, so will consult his surgeon to consider the best course of action.
