SAM POWELL-PEPPER has continued his red-hot form, securing the fans’ vote as their MG MVP in the Power’s thrilling one-point win over St Kilda.

The tough conditions suited the bullish midfielder who recorded 20 disposals, nine contested possessions and four score involvements in a tight contest in Cairns.

Powell-Pepper’s hunger for the ball and relentless second efforts has seen him awarded his third MG MVP at this early stage of the season.

Claiming the maximum five votes has him sitting second on the Fans MG MVP Leaderboard, steaming nine points ahead of third-placed Todd Marshall and just two votes behind ladder-leader Travis Boak.

Robbie Gray was runner-up in this week’s fan vote, finishing with 15 touches, two goals and the all-important behind to put Port Adelaide in front in the dying moments.

He also secured four marks and a goal assist in slippery conditions.
