PORT ADELAIDE forward Orazio Fantasia will spend more time on the sidelines after straining his quad in Saturday’s SANFL game against North Adelaide.

Fantasia was playing his first game of the season following knee surgery but was forced from the field in the first quarter, with the quad injury confirmed on MRI on Sunday evening.

A timeline for the 26-year-old’s return to training will become clearer over the next few days, but it is hoped the injury won’t keep him out for too long.

Port Adelaide has a bye this week at both SANFL and AFL level.
