THE Port Adelaide Football Club’s relationship with joint major partner My ATM remains solid, as both parties work together to increase the value of their partnership.
The club is very grateful for the substantial support it continues to receive from the company.
Port Adelaide Chief Executive Mark Haysman said the relationship is proving to be highly beneficial to both parties.
"My ATM continues to contribute significantly to the Port Adelaide Football Club, offering us the highest level of corporate support as joint major partner," Mr Haysman said.
"This has been a very successful partnership, which we believe has helped both the club and the company grow and explore exciting new opportunities."
My ATM Managing Director Tim Scala has refuted comments attributed to the company’s Chairman questioning the value of the partnership.
"… we have been extremely pleased with the support that we have received from (the club) and will continue to monitor and improve the value we get from the sponsorship," Mr Scala said.
"My ATM has an annual review process with the Port Adelaide Football Club that looks at ways we can gain more value from our sponsorship, however this does not review the commercial terms of the contract. Our chairman may have misinterpreted the review process, as he is not involved on a day to day basis."
"My ATM has a terrific relationship with the Executives and Directors at the Club and we continue to work with them to assist in any way we can."
Mr Haysman said the club has a five-year deal with My ATM, the terms of which are confidential.
My ATM is a leading part of the club’s corporate network which is still growing, following a 16 per cent expansion in 2010.
The Port Adelaide Football Club continues to significantly increase sponsorship revenue, attracting many new partners through initiatives including our Business Ambassadors Group.
This week’s approval for the redevelopment of Adelaide Oval will generate new revenue streams for the club, and opportunities for new corporate partners to join us as we build towards an exciting and vibrant future in a world-class city stadium.
