SCOTT LYCETT will not be available for selection for Sunday’s game against reigning premier Melbourne.
Lycett - who had shoulder surgery in April - returned for his first game since round 4 in the SANFL at the weekend, running out the game well and contributing strongly.
The 29-year-old felt soreness in his shoulder on Sunday night and has since showed signs of an infection, which is currently being explored by medical staff and his surgeon.
Port Adelaide will name an extended side for the trip to Alice Springs on Thursday evening before finalising the side on Friday.
