JEREMY Finlayson has been voted by the fans as Port Adelaide’s best on ground in the side’s dominant 84-point win over the Bombers.

He recorded a well-rounded stat line of 25 disposals, four centre clearances and two goals in what was his strongest game in Port Adelaide colours to date.

His influential performance was highlighted by an impressive ten score involvements, with the versatile big man’s team-first approach and subsequent impact around goal recognised by the fans.

This is the first time Finlayson has taken out the fan vote, bringing him into the top ten on the MG MVP Leaderboard.

Coming in second place was fan-favourite Sam Powell-Pepper, running out the match with 22 touches, four marks and four goals.

His accurate four-goals-straight, a career-high, had him leaving Marvel Stadium as the game’s top goal scorer in a game that tallied 31 total majors.

With his Round 22 votes, the tough forward extends his lead atop the leaderboard. His career-best year will see him take out the 2022 MG MVP at the season’s end.

Rounding out the votes this week were the electric Zak Butters, reliable wingman Dan Houston and intercept master Aliir Aliir.
