Wines third in NAB AFL Rising Star Award
First-year midfielder Ollie Wines has finished third in the 2013 NAB AFL Rising Star Award
The 19-year-old played in every game of the 2013 home-and-away season, averaging 19 disposals, three marks and four tackles per game.
He had a strong start to the season with notable performances against Melbourne, Adelaide, Gold Coast and West Coast in the early part of the year.
Wines polled 26 votes behind award winner Jaeger O'Meara (Gold Coast) with 44, and Brad Crouch (Adelaide) with 31.
