LAST WEEK’s SUB: Mead

PORT ADELAIDE has finalised its side for Sunday’s twilight game against Greater Western Sydney with five confirmed changes.

Aliir Aliir, Miles Bergman, Kane Farrell, Lachie Jones and Jeremy Finlayson all return after missing last weekend’s trip to Geelong.

Aliir and Jones have each cleared the AFL’s concussion protocols while Bergman, Farrell and Finlayson have overcome the illness which kept them out.

Last week’s substitute Jackson Mead and winger Riley Bonner have been omitted and named to play in the SANFL on Saturday against Glenelg, while defender Trent McKenzie has a knee injury and will likely be sidelined for about four weeks.

Ruck Dante Visentini has withdrawn from the 26-man squad named on Thursday night after experiencing quad tightness at training with Sam Hayes being added to the list of emergencies in his place.

Francis Evans, Jase Burgoyne and Quinton Narkle are the other emergencies, with one to be named the tactical substitute an hour from the first bounce on Sunday.

Port Adelaide’s players will wear a special retro guernsey during the game, paying tribute to tri-bolt design first worn in the pre-season in 1998 and adopted as a clash guernsey for the 2003 season.

Sunday’s game at Adelaide Oval gets underway at 4:10pm. Tickets are still available for the match.
