Yartapuulti defender Kane Farrell will be sidelined for approximately a month as he recovers from a knee injury.
Farrell noticed some discomfort late in Saturday’s Showdown, with scans later confirming he required an arthroscopy to clean out the joint.
The 26-year-old underwent a successful surgery on Tuesday and will begin his rehab in the coming days.
Category B rookie Jacob Moss sustained a syndesmosis injury and fibula fracture during training last week.
The young defender had surgery on Friday and is expected to miss approximately three months of football.
Forward Jack Lukosius is nearing a return to play, with the recruit expected to be available for selection within the next three weeks.
Yartapuulti will name its side for Saturday’s game against Geelong on Thursday at 5:50pm ACST.
