The Port Adelaide Football Club is proud to join forces with ASC, with the submarine builder signing on as a principal partner.
Through the partnership, ASC will support the AFLW program, as well as the club’s community arm, Power Community Ltd (PCL).
PCL offers a range of programs to families and young people across the state, with the ASC specifically investing in Power to Thrive, the Community Youth Program and the Santos Aboriginal Power Cup.
The Power to Thrive program has a particularly special connection to ASC, as a resilience and wellbeing program designed for children from Australian Defence Force families.
ASC’s support of the club’s AFLW program will help its continued growth, while also inspiring the next generation of female footballers.
Both organisations hold deep ties with the local community, with each boasting a proven commitment to creating positive social impact.
Port Adelaide Football Club CEO Matthew Richardson was pleased to form a partnership with a locally based business, which shares similar values.
“We are delighted to welcome ASC as a principal partner of the Port Adelaide Football Club, partnering with both our AFLW program and our community organisation, Power Community Ltd.,” Mr. Richardson said.
“ASC has a clear commitment to strengthening its local community and positively impacting the future for South Australians, particularly those within the Port Adelaide heartland.
“This partnership allows us to further enhance the powerful impact our community programs have, and to continue the exciting growth of our AFLW program as we enter our fourth year in the competition.”
“Port Adelaide and ASC are two iconic South Australian brands, who together are committed to building positive outcomes for our local community.”
ASC CEO and Managing Director Stuart Whiley was thrilled to partner with Port Adelaide.
"We are proud to stand alongside a team that exemplifies excellence, both on the footy field and in the community.
"This partnership celebrates the deep and enduring ties ASC and Port Adelaide share with the Lefevre Peninsula and broader Port Adelaide area, and reflects our shared commitment to creating positive outcomes through programs that uplift and empower our community."
