The Port Adelaide Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of former Director Anthony Toop.
Mr Toop served on the Club's Board of Directors from 2007 to 2010, bringing exceptional business acumen, creativity and vision during a transformational period in the Club's history.
Mr Toop’s philanthropic spirit touched countless lives. His generosity and commitment to South Australia will not be forgotten.
Port Adelaide Football Club Chairman David Koch paid tribute to Mr Toop.
"Anthony was a passionate and innovative South Australian business leader who contributed significantly during his time on our Board,” Mr Koch said.
“His business expertise and vision were instrumental in shaping the Port Adelaide Football Club through a significant period of change and he continued his support with Sylvia as popular members of our Chairman’s Club. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family."
The Port Adelaide Football Club extends its deepest condolences to Mr Toop’s wife Sylvia, daughters Genevieve and Suzannah, and the extended Toop family.
