Port Adelaide is proud to unveil its 2025 AFLW Pride guernsey, a meaningful design that celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and the strength of community.
The guernsey honours the club’s traditional strip while introducing a third chevron filled with a colourful wave pattern inspired by the Progress Flag.
Flowing across the shoulders and back, the design symbolises the flag waving in the wind, with each line bending and blending differently to represent individuality and a shared sense of belonging.
Adding to the design’s personal touch, a rainbow on the front lower left of the strip features words chosen by the club’s AFLW players.
Inclusivity, belonging, love, kindness, respect, freedom and celebration come together to form the rainbow, reflecting the values that underpin the club, the guernsey and the spirit of Pride Round.
Port Adelaide’s AFLW captain, Justine Mules-Robinson said she’ll be proud to pull on the guernsey.
“Pride round is such a special celebration, and it’s always something the whole group looks forward to each year,” Mules-Robinson said.
“Inclusivity and creating a sense of belonging for all, regardless of who you love, is something I feel proud to promote and foster through the game. It’s amazing to witness the sea of colour when you look out into the crowd.
“It’s an honour to wear the Pride guernsey each year, and I know the group feels proud to represent the story behind the design.
“The words that make up the rainbow on this year’s design are special to us as a playing group, and I know we’ll all feel a real sense of pride when we run out wearing it.”
The league wide celebration will take place across Rounds 9 and 10 of the AFLW competition, with Port Adelaide’s home Pride match to be played against Hawthorn under lights on Friday, 17 October at 6:45pm at Alberton Oval.
