The SANFL has confirmed the first 11 rounds of football for 2026, with Port Adelaide opening its 2026 season with a twilight clash at home.
The Magpies will host the last season’s grand finalists Glenelg from 4:10pm on Saturday, 28 March, before heading to Noarlunga for a Good Friday match against South Adelaide the following weekend.
With four home games across the first stretch of the season, Port Adelaide will also welcome North Adelaide, Central District and West Adelaide to Alberton Oval, in addition to Glenelg in Round 1.
First Nations Round will see the Magpies travel to Woodville Oval for a contest with the Eagles, where both clubs will celebrate the contribution of First Nations people and culture to Australian rules football.
As per previous seasons, Port Adelaide will be known by its traditional place name, Yartapuulti, during this special round.
Two Showdowns at Adelaide Oval will take place, with the Crows owning hosting duties in Round 5, and the Magpies in Round 12, in line with the AFL fixture.
The league will again break for two state games – one during AFL Gather Round in April and one in May.
Rounds 11 to 19 are currently floating fixtures, with exact days and times yet to be confirmed, however opponents and venues have been locked in for the entire season.
2026 SANFL memberships are available now. Full season AFL members receive access to all home SANFL games during the season.
