New players and young talent will feature in Josh Carr’s AFL side in this Sunday’s AAMI Community Series clash against West Coast.

The 26-player squad for the trip to Perth includes GWS recruit Jacob Wehr, while other fresh faces Corey Durdin (Carlton), Mitch Zadow (SSP) and Jack Watkins (rookie draft) have all been named on the extended bench.

Dante Visentini has held his spot in the ruck after last week’s match simulation against Adelaide, along with second-year forwards Joe Berry and Jack Whitlock.

Port Adelaide stars Zak Butters and Mitch Georgiades return to the lineup following Origin duties, while mid-season draftee giant Harrison Ramm will feature in the backline.

Josh Sinn, Christian Moraes, Will Brodie and Jordon Sweet have been named emergencies.

Jack Lukosius and Miles Bergman were deemed unavailable for selection on Thursday as they manage groin and foot issues respectively.

Players that aren’t required for the Eagles game will spend Saturday at Alberton in a SANFL trial match against Sturt from 11:40am.

AAMI Community Series matches consist of four 20-minute quarters plus time on (as per the regular premiership season), with no interchange cap. Up to 26 players can take part in the game (18 on field and eight on the interchange).

Saturday’s game will begin at 5:40pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
