OUT: O Lord 30 (omit), L Jones 34 (injured)

Port Adelaide has added five players to its extended squad ahead of its first game at Adelaide Oval for 2026.

Jackson Mead, Jack Lukosius, Will Brodie, and Josh Lai have all been added to the extended bench, while ruck Jordon Sweet has been named on ground.

Should Lai be named in the final side, he would make his AFL debut after being plucked from suburban football during the SSP period in early 2025.

Forward Ollie Lord has been omitted ahead of the Essendon clash and defender Lachie Jones will miss with hamstring tightness.

Completing the extended interchange is Ewan Mackinlay, Jack Watkins, Dante Visentini and Corey Durdin, with three players from the bench to be moved to the emergencies in final selection on Friday afternoon.

This weekend is Port Adelaide’s member recognition round, with an array of special member experiences to take place including a lap of honour for a group of 30-year members and an on-ground junior clinic before the match.

Sunday’s game will begin at 2:45pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, Channel 7 and Kayo.
