After raising more than $35,000 for local football clubs in 2025, the Credit Union SA Footy Raffle is set to return for 2026.
The innovative program was successfully introduced last year, after both Port Adelaide and Credit Union SA identified a growing need to support and promote the game at a grassroots level.
The initiative provides local clubs with an online fundraising platform, high-value prizes and a simple, easy-to-use mechanic to help raise funds for their football programs.
Importantly, each participating club retains 100 per cent of the profits generated, ensuring they have the resources to support their respective football programs.
This year’s prize pool includes game day experiences, signed guernseys, Port Adelaide memberships, wine, food hampers and more, with each participating club receiving more than $2,500 worth of prizes to raffle through their own online portal at $5 per ticket.
Every ticket purchased also includes a three-game membership to 2026 Port Adelaide AFL and AFLW matches, including one AFL game of the buyer’s choice (excluding Showdown), Round 17 v North Melbourne (Junior Footy Round), and one AFLW game.
To celebrate junior football in South Australia, Port Adelaide will once again theme its Round 17 clash against North Melbourne as Junior Footy Round.
As part of the celebration, junior players and their families will have the opportunity to be involved in a special day at Adelaide Oval, including a guard of honour, lap of honour and changeroom visits.
Credit Union SA Chief Executive Officer, Todd Roberts, said the program is vital in strengthening local communities.
“Credit Union SA is thrilled to again partner with Port Adelaide for the Community Footy Raffle. Grassroots football clubs play a vital role in strengthening local communities,” Mr Roberts said.
“By supporting clubs with simple, accessible fundraising opportunities, we are helping them thrive while giving families the chance to enjoy the game they love and participate in Junior Footy Round at Adelaide Oval.”
Clubs who participated in 2025 will receive email communications in the coming days with details on how to activate this year’s raffle.
Local clubs new to the initiative are encouraged to register their interest here.
