Port Adelaide has named its team for the fifth annual Russell Ebert Tribute Game this Sunday afternoon against West Adelaide.
It’s the first time Alberton Oval has hosted the special fixture, which honours the legacy of the beloved club legend, who died in 2021 at age 72.
Ebert played 392 games for the Magpies, winning four Magarey Medals and six club best-and-fairest titles along the way.
Christian Moraes and Jacob Wehr both come into the side after spending most of the season at AFL level, while Dante Visentini and Tom Anastasopoulos have been named after serving as AFL travelling emergencies last weekend.
Jack Lukosius stays in the team after getting through training this week following a shoulder knock last weekend.
Bailey Chamberlain and Ryan Carnelly have both been added, while Harrison Ramm and Xavier Bamert have received a call-up for the AFL side.
West Adelaide enjoyed a five-point win over North Adelaide last round, while the Magpies lost to a dominant Glenelg outfit.
Port Adelaide takes on the Bloods from 1:10pm at Alberton Oval this Sunday afternoon.
