Port Adelaide has made three changes ahead of hosting Showdown V at Alberton Oval under lights on Saturday night. Â
Ella Boag, Katelyn Pope and Olivia Crane will return to the side, with the trio set to pull on the iconic Prison Bar guernsey.Â
Boag returns from injury and has been named in the midfield, while Pope has recovered from the illness that saw her miss the Round 7 clash and will line up forward.Â
Crane returns to the 21-player side to add height to the backline, alongside Amelie Borg, Teagan Germech, Cheyenne Hammond and Molly Brooksby.Â
Fresh off booting three goals on club debut, Ellie Hampson has retained her place in the side and will play in her first Showdown.Â
South Australian Lauren Young is also set to play her first game against the cross-town rivals, while Emily Elkington will also make her Showdown debut.Â
Port Adelaide last faced Adelaide in Showdown IV in 2025, recording a 7-point victory at Norwood.Â
Alberton Oval is set to host a bumper crowd for Showdown V, with plenty happening around the ground before and after the annual blockbuster.Â
Tickets are available now, with children under 14 able to attend for free. Children must redeem a ticket to enter, while general admission tickets are available for $15 for adults.Â
Port Adelaide and Adelaide AFLW members are encouraged to guarantee entry by upgrading their ticket using their member barcode at no additional cost via Ticketmaster ahead of the event.Â
Fans can also enjoy a free Ferris wheel in the Precious Cargo Kids Zone. Located via the Seventh Avenue entrance, the kid’s hub will offer plenty of entertainment for families throughout the night.Â
Queen Street will be closed for the occasion and transformed into Food Truck Alley, creating a street party atmosphere ahead of the game, while a post-game fireworks display will close out the night.Â
Over at the Bowls Club, fans can also enjoy a free game of night bowls while taking in one of the best views of the ground from the western boundary.Â
