Originally unveiled in 2025, Port Adelaide will re-wear its Pride guernsey across this year’s annual league-wide celebration, reaffirming the club’s commitment to diversity, inclusivity and the strength of community.

The Power will don the meaningful design across Rounds 9 and 10, when they face West Coast at home and Brisbane away.

The decision to re-wear the guernsey reflects the club’s belief that the values represented in the design are enduring, with Port Adelaide continuing to celebrate individuality, belonging and inclusion within its football community and beyond.

The guernsey honours Port Adelaide’s traditional strip while featuring a third chevron filled with a colourful wave pattern inspired by the Progress Flag.

Flowing across the shoulders and back, the design symbolises the flag waving in the wind, with each line bending and blending differently to represent individuality and a shared sense of belonging.

Adding a personal touch, a rainbow on the front lower left of the guernsey features words chosen by the club’s AFLW players.

Inclusivity, belonging, love, kindness, respect, freedom and celebration come together to form the rainbow, reflecting the values that underpin the guernsey and the spirit of Pride Round.

Port Adelaide AFLW captain Justine Mules-Robinson said the playing group was proud to continue representing the message behind the design.

“Pride Round is such a special celebration, and it’s always something the whole group looks forward to each year,” Mules-Robinson said.

“Inclusivity and creating a sense of belonging for all, regardless of who you love, is something I feel proud to promote and foster through the game.

“I know the group feels proud to continue to represent the story behind the design, and the words that make up the rainbow are really special to us as a playing group.

“We’ll all feel a real sense of pride when we run out wearing it again this year.”

The AFLW’s league-wide Pride celebration will take place across Rounds 9 and 10, with Port Adelaide to host West Coast at Alberton Oval on Saturday, 10 October from 2:35pm.
