PORT ADELAIDE will be forced to make at least one change to the side that was defeated by Adelaide in last weekend’s Showdown.

Defender Ryan Burton suffered a hamstring strain against the Crows and is expected to return after the club’s mid-season bye.

Robbie Gray will be assessed ahead of the clash with Gold Coast as he attempts to return from a broken hand, while a number of players have been performing well in Port’s SANFL side.



The SANFL had a league-wide bye last weekend, so there will be plenty of rested players eagerly awaiting senior selection.

Billy Frampton has imposed himself on the contest in recent weeks, kicking nine goals in his last two matches against Woodville-West Torrens and Central District.

Jack Trengove, Joe Atley, Joel Garner, Peter Ladhams and Boyd Woodcock have all impressed in the opening six rounds of the SANFL season and will be in contention to face the Suns.

The Power host Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon with kids getting in for free. The final teams will be announced on Thursday evening.
