The pair kicked five goals apiece to deliver Hawthorn a comfortable 45-point victory over the Power.
It was a tale of two teams as Hawthorn put Port to the sword with clinical efforts across three quarters.
Port struggled to find answers against a top-of-the-table outfit that was cleaner and more efficient with the ball on a sodden AAMI Stadium deck.
Hawthorn stormed out of the blocks with an early 23-point lead following four consecutive goals.
The Power remained goalless until halfway through the first term when John Butcher took a strong mark and converted with ease.
Angus Monfries also scored to keep Port in touch despite the Hawks six straight goals.
The Power trailed by 22 points at the short break and also in key statistical indicators, particularly in clearance wins and effective disposals.
But it mounted its response early in the second term with Monfries again delivering the goods before being joined on the score sheet by Matt Thomas, Robbie Gray, Jay Schulz, Brad Ebert and Chad Wingard.
The Power closed to within three points late in the quarter before the Hawks kicked away to nurse a two-goal lead into the long break.
But it was downhill from there with Hawthorn dismantling Port in the middle and punishing Port on the turnovers.
The Hawks kicked six goals to Port's two for the term and led by 35 comfortable points at the last change.
It was one of Port's most disappointing losses for the year, with the Hawks’ relentless numbers pressuring it to concede possession throughout the day.
Few players emerged from the match having contributed to the team's effort throughout the day, with captain Travis Boak the club’s only consistent performer across four quarters.
Port Adelaide travels to Melbourne to play St Kilda next Saturday at Etihad Stadium.
