This week's AFL Record feature article celebrates Port Adelaide's 150th year, detailing the club's rise from SANFL powerhouse to the national stage.

FOOTY fans may miss the football this winter, but they won't be starved of their beloved AFL Record.

Crocmedia has announced that despite no matches at AFL grounds until at least the start of June, a free edition of the AFL Record will be available online each week.

You will be able to find the AFL Record -presented by Karcher - on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App every week.

>> Here are the AFL Record Editor's notes for issue #8:

  • In this week's edition, we celebrate Port Adelaide's 150th anniversary and the club's grand achievements since rising from the SANFL to the AFL.
  • During the 1980s, Carlton was one of the most feared clubs in the competition. A good reason was the Blues' famed 'Mosquito Fleet' and we catch up with all six members – Wayne Johnston, Wayne Harmes, Alex Marcou, Rod Ashman, Jim Buckley and Ken Sheldon.
  • Who is the unluckiest player at your club in recent times? The Record profiles players who were stiff not to reach 100 games.
  • Don't miss the Red Energy Footy Quiz, Answer Man with our stats experts and a flashback to the great individual performances of round eight.
