PORT ADELAIDE has made two changes to its side to play the Crows at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Hamish Hartlett and Jarman Impey have been recalled to the side from injury, squeezing out small defender Tom Logan and midfielder Aaron Young.

Logan and Young will lineup for the Magpies against Sturt on Saturday, and act as the Power's emergencies.

Dom Cassisi has been unable to fully recover from minor knee soreness that prevented him from lining up against the Bulldogs and has not been named in the team.

But he will be available, if required, to step up into the team from the named emergency list, as with Young and Logan.

Senior coach Ken Hinkley's side will be fully prepared for the challenge the Crows pose, particularly if the West Lakes-based team produces its best football on Sunday.

"[Adelaide's] form's been a little bit up and down, but their best form is as good as any team in the competition," Hinkley said at his pre-match press conference.

"They've beaten North, they've beaten Collingwood – they've got form on the board at Adelaide Oval which is really scary for us and we need to make sure we bring our best.

"We've been a side that's really consistent all year and we need to make sure we do that again this weekend.

"We're not focusing any further ahead.

"It's a Showdown and we know it's an important game in the state and we don't lose sight of that all, but we also understand it's the next game in our season, our progression."

Meanwhile Sam Gray has been confirmed as the Power's nominated rookie for the rest of the 2014 season.

It means the 2013 A.R. McLean Medallist is eligible to play on the senior list for the remainder of the year, without the need of replacing a long-term injured player.

Gray debuted in Round 4 against Brisbane.

Lewis Stevenson has also been confirmed back on the senior list after recovering from his toe injury earlier this month, while Campbell Heath has been placed on the long-term injury list as he progresses through rehabilitation from LARS surgery to his knee.

Port Adelaide plays the Crows at 3:40pm on Sunday.
