Travis Boak leads all players in AFLCA Player of the Year voting.

PORT ADELAIDE midfielder Travis Boak remains at the top of the leaderboard in the 2020 SHADFORTH FINANCIAL GROUP AFLCA CHAMPION PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD after claiming a perfect score in his side’s win over Fremantle.

The coaches awarded Boak the perfect 10 votes for his performance in the 29-point win.

Boak had a game-high 26 disposals to go with two marks, seven tackles, five clearances and a game-high 495 metres gained.

The 2019 Best and Fairest also booted a goal on his way to being in his side’s best players for the night.

Vice captain Ollie Wines polled eight votes in his return from a shoulder injury.

Wines also booted a goal, along with having 25 disposals, two marks and six clearances.

Big men Charlie Dixon (four votes), Justin Westhoff and Scott Lycett (two votes each) also polled votes after starring in the torrential rain.

Fremantle skipper Nat Fyfe was the only Docker to receive any votes. The dual Brownlow medallist polled four votes after racking up 23 disposals, three clearances and a goal.

Gold Coast third-gamer Matt Rowell scored a maximum 10 votes for a second straight week as one of four players to receive 10 votes on the weekend along with Boak, Hawthorn’s Jaeger O’Meara and Brisbane’s Lachie Neale.

The votes for the round remain incomplete because Essendon’s game against Melbourne was postponed due to Connor McKenna’s positive COVID-19 test but Boak’s lead at the top of the leaderboard remains two votes over Neale.
