PORT Adelaide supporters turned out in force in Round 23 to produce a record-breaking crowd.

The crowd was the biggest at AAMI Stadium in 2013 and the largest at the ground since 2009.

A total of 45,127 supporters rolled through the AAMI Stadium gates, the eighth highest home crowd in the Power’s AFL history.

With perfect conditions throughout the match and more than 16,000 public tickets sold, the Power was able to remove the two remaining seat-bay covers for the clash against the Blues.

The massive crowd also got the chance to honour some past greats before the game.

Russell Ebert, Brian Cunningham, Tim Ginever, Gavin Wanganeen and Warren Tredrea along with players from our 13 Premierships won at Football Park were celebrated pre-game, while the retiring Brett Ebert was also given a lap of honour.

In what was their last game at AAMI Stadium, the Power supporters helped reach another milestone in recording the 2nd highest non-showdown crowd of all time.

While the Blues snuck home in the final quarter, the home crowd did not disappoint as they stayed vocal up until the end and farewelled AAMI Stadium in true Port Adelaide tradition.
