JACOB Surjan is a late withdrawal from the side to face Geelong at Simonds Stadium in Round 14.

Surjan has been ruled out with a hip complaint and will be replaced by Cameron O'Shea.

Senior coach Matthew Primus said Surjan was a line-ball decision.

"We gave him until the very last minute to prove his fitness, but he just didn't quite come up," Primus said.

"We're hoping it'll only be a one week injury, but we'll assess it during the week."

O'Shea, Andrew Moore and Matthew Lobbe will start on the bench, while Aaron Young is the sub.
