PortAdelaideFC.com.au goes behind enemy lines into the St Kilda sanctum to find out what’s been happening down at Moorabbin, with former Saints veteran Jason Blake set to play his 200th game against the Power.

Blake was named in the initial squad for the Saints on Thursday evening. Recruited at number 24 in the 1999 draft, Blake debuted for St Kilda in 2000 against the Western Bulldogs. He was delisted from the club’s veteran list at the end of 2011 and then redrafted to the senior list during the 2011 National Draft.

Former Port Adelaide SANFL player Terry Milera has been snapping at the heels of senior Saints Stephen Milne and Adam Schneider. Milera has been touted as the likely replacement for the pair with he and Ahmed Saad being recruited as small forwards last year.

Despite this, Schneider says he does not feel threatened by the former Port Adelaide Magpie’s great form at Moorabbin.

"They've (Milera and Saad) both come in really well. They've trained really well, which is what we want, and they both show so much potential. We're not worried about the classy stuff, we know that happens for them naturally," Schneider told AFL.com.au.

"What we like seeing is the defensive side of it, the chasing and tackles. It's great to have guys like that knocking on the doors. If we can get four of us in the forward line it'd be fantastic but we'll just wait and see."

The Saints will be holding an open training session at 3.00pm on Saturday afternoon prior to the Opening Round match.
