THE Port Adelaide Football Club wishes to advise people of changes to the SA Lotteries Footy Express bus service to and from Alberton Oval on game days.
From this Friday night, the FX8 service will no longer pick up or drop off passengers directly outside Alberton Oval.
We have been advised of difficulties the bus drivers are having accessing the area immediately outside the Oval.
Instead, the FX8 service will now pick up and drop off at Stop 30 on Port Rd (located on the Alberton Oval side, south of Brougham Place).
This will require a short walk for some supporters, but we hope it won't cause too much inconvenience.
A Customer Service officer from Torrens Transit will be at Alberton on Friday night to direct passengers to the new pick-up point and to answer their questions.
Remember, the SA Lotteries Footy Express is a great way to get to and from the football. It's free for ticket-holders and saves the trouble of car parking.
