Tom Clurey has shown enough on the training track to be cleared for selection in Port Adelaide's Qualifying Final clash with Geelong on Thursday night.

PORT ADELAIDE will have a near full-strength side to choose from for its Qualifying Final against Geelong, with defenders Tom Clurey and Ryan Burton cleared to play.

Clurey missed the side’s Round 18 win over Collingwood with a hamstring injury but has trained well over the past week and will press his claims to take on the Cats on Thursday night.

Burton last featured in the Round 16 win over North Melbourne, when he suffered a quad strain.

Like Clurey, he has trained strongly and is available for selection.

Forward Mitch Georgiades is also on track for a return from his hamstring injury and will ramp up his training ahead of Thursday night’s game.

The 19-year-old has played seven games this year but has not featured at AFL level since the win over Hawthorn in Round 13.

The club will wait until Wednesday evening before naming its side for the game against Geelong at Adelaide Oval.
