Travis Boak was a class above any other player on the field on Sunday in a standout individual performance.

TRAVIS Boak has taken out the first Fans MG MVP vote for season 2021.

The 32-year old powered Port Adelaide from the middle in Sunday’s season opener against North Melbourne with 27 disposals and seven clearances.

The midfielder also added to the scoreboard with two goals to his name and assisted on a further two majors during the game.  

Boak takes the early lead on the Fans MG MVP leaderboard, scoring the maximum five-points for being voted best afield.

Not far behind in the fans’ vote was Port Adelaide club debutant, Orazio Fantasia.

Fantasia was pivotal in the Power’s second quarter surge, kicking three goals in the term.

Looking right at home in his new colours, he finished the afternoon with a game-high four goals, 14 disposals and 12 score involvements.

Rounding out the votes this week was Aliir Aliir (3rd), Ollie Wines (4th) and Zak Butters (5th). 

This week the Power returns home to Adelaide Oval, hosting Essendon in a Saturday twilight clash.
