Charlie Dixon's incredible one-handed grab has been nominated for Mark of the Year.

PORT ADELAIDE forward Charlie Dixon has been nominated for the AFL’s Mark of the Year after his stunning one-handed effort against Carlton on Saturday night.

Early in the second term at the MCG, Dixon out bodied Blues backman Jacob Weitering with one arm and plucked the ball out of the air with the other just when it appeared to be sailing over his head.

Dixon is the first Port Adelaide player to be nominated for the award in 2021.

He was the Round 17 nominee in 2020 for a similar one-handed mark while falling to the ground against Essendon.

The other Round 5 nominees for Mark of the Year are West Coast’s Oscar Allen and Adelaide’s Taylor Walker.
